Job Description: As a Family Safeguarding Specialist at Connect2Luton, you will play a crucial role in coordinating multi-agency approaches to prevent and address child protection issues. Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Undertaking statutory duties under the Children Act 1989 and other relevant legislation, including care proceedings, risk assessments, and investigations.
  2. Leading professional interventions using available resources to meet the needs of service users, promoting anti-discriminatory practice and empowerment.
  3. Gathering, recording, and analyzing sensitive data on relevant databases, maintaining accurate records, and producing case reports and statistical reports as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Social Work or a related field.
  • Experience in child protection and safeguarding.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
