Children's Family Support Coordinator

Sanctuary Personnel Ltd is seeking a dedicated Children's Family Support Coordinator to join their team. This role involves driving up the quality of practice and partnerships across the town and its services, ensuring legislative requirements are met.
About the Position:
In this position, you will be responsible for gathering information, completing assessments of need and risk, and co-ordinating multi-agency approaches to safeguard the wellbeing and interests of children and young people. You will work closely with other professionals and agencies to achieve optimal outcomes for children and young people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Team Managers to promote excellence within the team, providing peer supervision, mentoring, and deputising in their absence.
- Gather information, complete clear, accurate, and holistic professional assessments of need and risk in respect of children and families.
- Critically analyse all relevant information and co-ordinate the multi-agency approach to promote and safeguard the wellbeing and interests of children/young people.
- Liaise and work with other professionals and agencies to achieve optimal outcomes for children and young people.
- Build positive relationships with children and their families through promoting participation and undertaking direct work.
- Update and maintain high-quality case files in the council's management information system, ensuring all key information about the child's circumstances and plans are recorded within timescales and comply with General Data Protection Regulations.
- Take personal responsibility for own professional development and reflective practice, keeping up-to-date with changes to legislation, court rules, policies, procedures, and best practice development.
Salary and Benefits:
An estimated salary for this position is £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, the company offers a range of benefits, including competitive salaries, opportunities for career advancement, and a supportive work environment.
