Job DescriptionAs a Children's Home Support Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Providing high-quality care and support to children in our residential setting
- Creating a safe and nurturing environment for children to thrive
- Assisting in the development and implementation of care plans
- Supporting and engaging with children in recreational and educational activities
- Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure the well-being of each child
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a residential childcare setting
- NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People or equivalent qualification or willingness to undertake this qualification
- Understanding of the issues affecting children in care
- Passion for personal and professional development, with a desire to progress in your role
- Hold a valid driving licence
The salary for this role is £27,600 per annum, plus a range of benefits including opportunities for professional development and training, employee assistance programme, and 28 days of annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays).
