About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Wedding Coordinator to join our team at Killeavy Castle Estate. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for managing and converting all incoming events, group, and corporate enquiries from initial contact to event execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and convert all events, group, and corporate enquiries, ensuring seamless transitions to the operations team for event execution.
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the event or group enquiry process, including show rounds, negotiating rates, contracting, and pre-event, during-event, and post-event planning.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, hotel departments, and external partners to ensure consistently high levels of service.
  • Identify opportunities to maximize revenue through upselling, conversion driving, and generating repeat business.
  • Ensure adherence to sales and event brand standards for enquiry handling, event planning, and pre- and post-event execution.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in events management within the hospitality industry.
  • Proven track record of selling weddings, meetings, and conferences.
  • 4-5 years of experience in events management within the hospitality industry.
  • Experience in team management and supervision.
  • Strong IT proficiency, reporting, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Previous experience in operational running of events, particularly in the hospitality industry.
