Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Wedding Coordinator to join our team at Killeavy Castle Estate in County Armagh. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth execution of events, conferences, and weddings.

The Role:
  • Manage and convert event enquiries into bookings, providing excellent customer service throughout the process.
  • Coordinate all aspects of event planning, including communication with clients, menu planning, and event setup.
  • Work closely with our Conference and Banqueting, Operations, and Kitchen teams to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Financially manage events, including completing financial dealings and securing revenue collection.
  • Effectively manage accommodation blocks and meeting space inventory for assigned groups.
  • Conduct show rounds to win business and build relationships with potential clients.
  • Lead the events team by example, training and developing staff members, and setting goals and KPIs.
  • Proactively resolicit previous clients and event bookers for future opportunities.
  • Deliver regular reports on revenue and departmental objectives to upper management.

Requirements:
  • 2+ years of events experience within the hospitality industry.
  • Proven track record of selling weddings, meetings, and conferences.
  • 4-5 years of events experience within the hospitality industry.
  • Experience in team management/supervision.
  • IT proficiency.
  • Reporting and presentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
