We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Wedding Coordinator to join our team at Killeavy Castle Estate. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring that every event is executed to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all incoming events, group, and corporate enquiries, providing excellent customer service throughout the process.
  • Coordinate all customer requirements, including communication and completing details of an event up to handover to operations on the day of event execution.
  • Work closely with Conference and Banqueting, Operations, and Kitchen teams to ensure each event is catered for accordingly and that planning through to execution is efficient, seamless, and to an exceptionally high standard.
  • Manage accommodation blocks and meeting space inventory for assigned groups.
  • Conduct compelling show rounds to win business, building rapport and connection with potential clients and representing Killeavy Castle Estate in a professional and engaging manner.
  • Lead the events team by example, training and developing staff members, setting goals and KPIs for events staff, running weekly meetings, and communicating schedules to all staff and relevant departments.
  • Deliver regular reports on revenue and departmental objectives to upper management.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of selling weddings, meetings, and conferences.
  • Experience in team management/supervision.
  • Expertise/understanding of hotel operations, including menu planning, food presentation, event/meeting room set ups, audio-visual, and banquet service standards.
