Home Living Coordinator

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in North Lanarkshire. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with complex disabilities in their daily lives.
Your key responsibilities will include assisting individuals with personal care, medication management, communication, mealtimes, and participating in their chosen activities. You will also facilitate attendance at college, appointments, recreational activities, and social events.
Our ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, be able to work independently, and demonstrate empathy and understanding when working with vulnerable individuals.
Key ResponsibilitiesKey responsibilities of the role include:
- Assisting individuals with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
- Managing medication, including administering medication and monitoring side effects
- Providing emotional support and companionship to individuals
- Facilitating attendance at college, appointments, recreational activities, and social events
- Assisting with daily living routines, including meal preparation and cleaning
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Empathy and understanding when working with vulnerable individuals
- Basic first aid training
- SVQ qualification or willingness to undertake
