Personal Support Assistant

We are recruiting for a Personal Support Assistant to work with individuals who require support in their daily lives. As a Personal Support Assistant, you will be responsible for providing person-centered care and support to individuals in their own homes or family homes. You will assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as supporting individuals to maintain their health and wellbeing. You will also help individuals to become involved in social activities and develop relationships within their local community.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and supportive team at Support for Ordinary Living. As a Personal Support Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to individuals, promoting their independence and well-being. You will work closely with other members of the team to ensure that individuals receive the best possible support. You will also have the opportunity to develop new skills and knowledge through our comprehensive training program.
Requirements:
We are looking for someone who is reliable, trustworthy, and person-centered. You should be able to adopt a common-sense approach to your work and be flexible in terms of availability for meetings and training. You should also be able to think and work in a reflective way, demonstrating respect and commitment to the individuals you support.
