Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Care Companion to join our team at Support for Ordinary Living. This is an exciting opportunity to work with individuals who require support in their daily lives, promoting their independence and well-being.

About the Role:
As a Care Companion, you will be responsible for providing person-centered care and support to individuals in their own homes or family homes. You will assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as supporting individuals to maintain their health and wellbeing. You will also help individuals to become involved in social activities and develop relationships within their local community.

Requirements:
We are looking for someone who is reliable, trustworthy, and person-centered. You should be able to adopt a common-sense approach to your work and be flexible in terms of availability for meetings and training. You should also be able to think and work in a reflective way, demonstrating respect and commitment to the individuals you support.

Salary:
The salary for this position is £18,000 - £20,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a range of benefits, including opportunities for professional development and training.

Location:
This role is based in North Lanarkshire, and you will be required to travel to different locations as part of your duties.
