Job Description

We are seeking an Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at the Ministry of Justice in Leeds. This role will involve performing various administrative duties, utilizing internal IT systems, and ensuring the smooth operation of our courts.

Main Responsibilities
  • Administration Tasks: Utilize internal IT systems to perform various administrative duties.
  • Data Input: Accurately enter data into our systems.
  • Excel Spreadsheet Management: Update and organize Excel spreadsheets as required.
  • Email Monitoring: Monitor and respond to emails in a timely manner.
  • Tribunal Admin Work: Process and manage Tribunal admin tasks efficiently.
  • Customer Communication: Handle telephone calls and provide excellent customer service.
  • Portal Management: Manage portal functions to ensure seamless court operations.
  • Court Listings: List appeals for hearings in a prompt and accurate manner.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work at pace, and meet deadlines. Previous experience in customer-facing roles is essential, as well as strong administration abilities and proficiency in Microsoft packages such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.
