Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Theatre Ophthalmic Specialist to join our team at Optical Express in Manchester.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing patients for surgery, including administering anaesthetics and monitoring patient vital signs.
  • Prepare surgical equipment and ensure that all necessary instruments are available.
  • Assist the surgeon during procedures, ensuring that all steps are followed accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information and procedure details.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong experience in theatre practice, preferably in an ophthalmology setting.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues and patients.
  • Highly organized and able to multitask, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.
  • Familiarity with relevant medical terminology and procedures.
