Aaron Wallis Sales Recruitment is partnering with a leading construction company to find an experienced Key Account Manager - Construction Sector who can build strong relationships with existing clients and identify opportunities for additional work.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in business development within the construction or engineering sectors and be proactive in pursuing new market opportunities in civil engineering, groundworks, street works, and infrastructure sectors.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Pursue new market opportunities and target frameworks, building on the company's specialisms.
  2. Create and manage a pipeline of prospective clients and projects.

Client Relationship Management:

  1. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and identifying opportunities for additional work.
  2. Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring repeat business and long-term partnerships.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role within the construction or civil engineering sector.
  2. Strong understanding of the civil engineering and infrastructure markets.
  3. Exceptional relationship-building skills and a robust professional network.
  4. Strong financial acumen and commercial awareness.
