About the Job

We are hiring a skilled Recovery Worker to join our client's Criminal Justice Team and support service users struggling with substance misuse problems.

This role involves managing a caseload of service users known to the criminal justice system and providing interventions to address their drug and/or alcohol misuse issues.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with clients with substance misuse issues and good knowledge of the criminal justice system.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Provide continuity of care through effective partnership working and care coordination.
  2. Assess and manage risk to ensure a safe environment for all.
  3. Develop and disseminate substance misuse information and provide health and social well-being advice.
  4. Collaborate with the criminal justice system (Prison, probation, police).

The successful candidate will receive excellent pay rates, four weekly payroll runs, and £250 training allowance.
