Job Opportunity: Children's Home Deputy Manager

A great opportunity to work with a reputable care company providing residential support for children and young adults with learning difficulties and challenging behavior. The company takes pride in the support they give the children, believing that setting them up with life skills will help them become well-rounded members of the community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the children with daily tasks such as breakfast, dressing, and getting to school
  • Assist with laundry, cooking dinner, and bathing the children
  • Lead the support team and create rotas for staff
  • Ensure care plans are adhered to and support the manager in running the home
Benefits:
  • Competitive hourly rate of £15.24 (Level 3) or £16.68 (Level 5)
  • £60 per sleep-in
  • Additional 16 hours per month paid for paperwork
  • 224 hours holiday per year, with extra days after 2 years of service
  • Bank holidays paid at 1.5 times the hourly rate
  • Private healthcare and claim petrol back at 40p per mile
Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People's Workforce (essential)
  • Full UK driving license and own vehicle (ideally)
  • Living in or around Ellesmere Port area
