Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Children's Home Manager to join our team at Adult Social Care. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to take on a leadership role and contribute to the delivery of exceptional care services.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the children's home, ensuring the well-being and safety of residents, and working closely with colleagues to achieve outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities

  • To manage and coordinate the activities of the children's home, including staff supervision and training.
  • To develop and implement policies and procedures that promote best practice in residential childcare.
  • To work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • To maintain accurate records and reports, as required.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare.
  • A Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience at supervisory level within an Ofsted-registered children's home.
  • A driving licence (desirable).

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 per annum, plus benefits, including pension scheme, life insurance, and generous annual leave entitlement.
