We are currently recruiting for a Deputy Home Manager position at our children's home in Wisbech. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting and caring for our young people with emotional and behavioural needs.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will have a minimum Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People and experience of working with children and young people with emotional and behavioural needs. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, flexibility, and willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.

  • About Our Home
  • We are a small and nurturing home that cares for four young people between the ages of 8 - 18 with emotional and behavioural needs.
  • Our young people are supported at the home and in the community, encouraged to undertake various activities and hobbies to increase their confidence and sense of belonging.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  1. Supporting and caring for our young people with emotional and behavioural needs.
  2. Overseeing the effective implementation of care and independence programmes.
  3. Line managing a small staff team.
  4. Maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our young people.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £38,000 per annum, plus benefits including:
