An opportunity for an Automation Analyst role is now available with the Operational Excellence Team. If you have a background with business or process analysis, any automation knowledge with UiPath or Appian, we want to hear from you.

This role is based within Operational Excellence – a cross-functional team within English Assessment Operations, that enables the successful delivery and implementation of process and program changes to capitalise on innovation and customer satisfaction with our catalogue of prestigious qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analysing the needs of business stakeholders across Assessment Operations, ensuring that the requirements/user stories are appropriately captured, documented and prioritised in conjunction with the business.
  • Providing clearly defined and agreed business requirements and user stories to automation technical teams.
  • Identifying and highlighting where processes are not suitable for automation as optimisation using Lean 6 Sigma methodologies is required.

Requirements:

  • BCS Foundation Certificate in Business Analysis or similar.
  • The application of agile techniques and focus on the improvement of the organisation and the business processes that drive it.
  • Demonstrable experience of the application of analysis techniques, e.g. epics/user stories, BPMN, SWOT, The 5 Whys, etc.
  • Experience of Agile delivery management and change management methodologies.
