Automation Process Analyst

Estimated Salary: £35,000 - £45,850 per annum depending on skills and experience
We are seeking an experienced Automation Process Analyst to join our Operational Excellence Team. The ideal candidate will have a background in business or process analysis and automation knowledge with UiPath or Appian.
This role is based within Operational Excellence – a cross-functional team that enables the successful delivery and implementation of process and program changes. As an Automation Process Analyst, you will be responsible for analysing the needs of business stakeholders, ensuring that requirements/user stories are appropriately captured, documented and prioritised in conjunction with the business.
The Automation Process Analyst role contributes to the success implementation of automation solutions, providing a high quality, agile and evolving analysis service to the business. This service strives to bring value in terms of cost savings, operational integrity and efficiencies, regulatory compliance and customer satisfaction.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide clearly defined and agreed business requirements and user stories to automation technical teams
- Identify and highlight where processes are not suitable for automation as optimisation using Lean 6 Sigma methodologies is required
- Embrace new challenges, building the right environment for the successful undertaking of analysis
Requirements:
- BCS Foundation Certificate in Business Analysis or similar
- Application of agile techniques and focus on the improvement of the organisation and the business processes that drive it
- Demonstrable experience of the application of analysis techniques, e.g. epics/user stories, BPMN, SWOT, The 5 Whys, etc.
