Infrastructure Automation Expert

As an Infrastructure Automation Expert, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automation tools and services to automate the deployment and configuration of engineering infrastructure and platforms. This includes building and managing monitoring tools and platforms like Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitoring, AWS CloudWatch, Dynatrace/Datadog, and similar tools that form our AIOps stack.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and run automation tools and services to automate the deployment and configuration of engineering infrastructure and platforms.
- Build and manage monitoring tools and platforms to ensure 24/7 system availability.
- Analyze system performance and implement improvements to enhance cost efficiency and user experience.
- Maintain detailed documentation of infrastructure, processes, and procedures to facilitate learning and operational continuity.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need to have experience in deploying, maintaining, and integrating automation tools like Gerrit, GitLab, Jenkins/Cloudbees, Hashicorp Vault, Ansible, and Terraform Enterprise. You should also have proficiency in monitoring tools and platforms such as Prometheus, Grafana, AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Datadog, Dynatrace, etc. Additionally, you should be skilled in Linux/Windows OS administration and scripting/programming (Bash, Python, and Go).
Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
