Springvale Care Home is seeking a dedicated and creative Activities Coordinator to join our team.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Activities Coordinator to plan and deliver engaging activities for our residents. As an Activities Coordinator, you will work closely with the Home Manager to develop and implement activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver a range of activities, including events, programmes, and individual pursuits, to promote socialisation and engagement among residents.
- Work closely with the Home Manager to develop and implement activities that meet the needs and interests of residents.
- Encourage staff members, relatives, and friends to participate in care home activities, fostering a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities using appropriate documents.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless delivery of activities and programmes.
Requirements:
- Proven ability to develop and organise a range of events and activities.
- Friendly, creative, and confident individual with excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Computer skills and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Genuine interest in working with the elderly and promoting their well-being.
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
