About the Role:
We are looking for a friendly and confident individual to plan and implement activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and organise a range of events and activities that promote socialisation and engagement among residents.
- Work closely with the Home Manager to ensure activities meet the needs and requests of residents.
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities using appropriate documents.
- Encourage staff members, relatives, and friends to participate in care home activities.
- Contribute to creating a positive and inclusive atmosphere within the care home.
Requirements:
- Proven ability to develop and organise events and activities.
- Friendly, creative, and confident individual with good communication and organisational skills.
- Computer skills and ability to work on own initiative.
- Genuine interest in working with the elderly and a commitment to safeguarding and promoting their welfare.
