About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Activities Coordinator to join our team at HC-One. As an Activities Coordinator, you will play a vital role in creating a stimulating and engaging environment for our residents, promoting their physical and mental well-being, and enhancing their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement a range of activities that cater to the diverse interests and needs of our residents, including arts, crafts, music, and exercise programs.
  • Collaborate with the Home Manager to organize fundraising events and activities that promote the care home's values and mission.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local community groups and organizations to access resources and opportunities for our residents.
  • Work closely with the care team to identify and address the needs of residents, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being is prioritized.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans that promote the independence and dignity of our residents.
Requirements
  • Experience working with vulnerable individuals, ideally in a care or social care setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, colleagues, and external partners.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances, including unexpected events or emergencies.
  • Commitment to the values and principles of HC-One, including kindness, compassion, and respect for individuals.
