Activities Coordinator Job Description

Springvale Care Home is seeking a dedicated and creative Activities Coordinator to join our team.

About the Role:

We are looking for a friendly and confident individual to plan and implement activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and organise a range of events and activities that promote socialisation and engagement among residents.
  • Work closely with the Home Manager to ensure activities meet the needs and requests of residents.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily activities using appropriate documents.
  • Encourage staff members, relatives, and friends to participate in care home activities.
  • Contribute to creating a positive and inclusive atmosphere within the care home.

Requirements:

  • Proven ability to develop and organise events and activities.
  • Friendly, creative, and confident individual with good communication and organisational skills.
  • Computer skills and ability to work on own initiative.
  • Genuine interest in working with the elderly and a commitment to safeguarding and promoting their welfare.
