Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and flexible Bank Domestic Assistant to join our team at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Bank Domestic Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our hospital premises.

Main Responsibilities

As a Bank Domestic Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out cleaning tasks to a high standard, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and cleaning mirrors, baths, showers, sinks, toilets, and other surfaces.
  • Emptying and cleaning bins, and replenishing paper towels, toilet tissue, and hand soap dispensers.
  • Working in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Collaborating with the Domestic Team to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A good general education at GCSE level or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of COSHH regulations, manual handling and health and safety regulations, and infection control procedures.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
