About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Domestic Assistant to join our team at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Domestic Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, staff, and visitors.
Main Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include:
- General cleaning in both clinical and non-clinical areas
- Dusting and polishing surfaces
- Vacuuming floors and cleaning equipment
- Deep cleaning of areas and equipment
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Good general education at GCSE level or equivalent
- Knowledge of manual handling and health and safety regulations
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, ward staff, and the Domestic team
