About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Domestic Assistant to join our team at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Domestic Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, staff, and visitors.

Main Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • General cleaning in both clinical and non-clinical areas
  • Dusting, vacuuming, and deep cleaning of equipment and surfaces
  • Ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the hospital

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Good general education at GCSE level or equivalent
  • Knowledge of manual handling and health and safety regulations
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, ward staff, and the Domestic team
