As a Bank Domestic Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our premises, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our patients and staff.
Main Responsibilities
- Carry out cleaning duties, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and cleaning mirrors, baths, showers, sinks, toilets, and other surfaces.
- Empty and clean bins, and replenish paper towels, toilet tissue, and hand soap dispensers.
- Assist with laundry duties and help to maintain a clean and organized environment.
Requirements
- Good general education at GCSE level or equivalent.
- Knowledge of COSHH regulations, manual handling, and health and safety regulations.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, ward staff, and the Domestic Team.
Working Hours
As a Bank Domestic Assistant, you will be required to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays. You will be expected to work across the Basingstoke site, carrying out services in a professional, efficient, friendly, and polite manner.
