Senior VFX Artist Job Description

At Electric Square, we're passionate about creating immersive gaming experiences that captivate players worldwide. As a Senior VFX Artist, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the visual identity of our AAA console games.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement high-quality visual effects that enhance gameplay and storytelling.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of VFX with other game elements.
  • Design and create innovative VFX solutions that push the boundaries of what's possible in AAA console games.
  • Maintain and communicate technical guidelines for VFX creation and real-time implementation.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest game production technologies and their capabilities/limitations.
Requirements
  • At least 2+ years' production experience as a VFX artist in the games industry working on cutting-edge AAA console titles.
  • Shipped at least 1-2 commercial products of reasonable size.
  • Strong skills in games development software such as Maya and game engines.
  • Understanding of shaders and the rendering pipeline as it relates to VFX.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • An exceptional eye for detail and quality.
