Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and mentor a small team of VFX Artists, fostering their growth and providing guidance that aligns with the artistic vision of the project.
  • Drive the creation of high-quality VFX, leveraging real-time technology for AAA console games.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify opportunities where VFX can elevate the game.
  • Develop and maintain a passion for cutting-edge VFX, including set piece events, ambient, and gameplay-related VFX.
  • Contribute to a collaborative art culture, onboarding new members, and instilling the core values of the studio.
Requirements
  • Prior experience as a Lead VFX Artist with a shipped AAA title to your credit.
  • A world-class portfolio showcasing your ability and talent.
  • Experience working with recruitment and studio leadership to identify talent and assist in the hiring process.
  • Proficiency in VFX tools such as Houdini, Substance Designer, and Unreal Engine or proprietary game engines.
  • Ability to pre-visualize and prototype cutting-edge VFX techniques.
  • Drive VFX, rendering, and material pipelines for the VFX team, focusing on performance.
