CYP Mental Health Professional

Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust is committed to delivering high-quality services to children, young people, and their families. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Child Wellbeing Practitioner to join our dynamic team in Hull.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the CWP team's Team Lead and other colleagues in providing low-intensity psychological therapies for children, young people, and their families within Hull City.
- Oversee the formulation and intervention plans for parents, children, and young people supported by Child Wellbeing Practitioners using specialist psychological interventions.
- Work in partnership with services throughout the city to support children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties and their families in self-management.
- Assess and deliver outcome-focused, evidence-based interventions to children, young people, and families experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties.
Requirements:
- A professional qualification in low-intensity CBT for CYP-IAPT and professional registration relevant to the post.
- Post-registration/graduate diploma or equivalent experience in a related work area, demonstrating advanced practice.
- Experience of mentoring pre-registration students/trainees/supervising staff.
- A full understanding of relevant policy, legislation, drivers, and their application to clinical/professional and service areas.
As a valued member of our team, you will receive a competitive salary of £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on your experience.
