Responsibilities

As an SEN Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

  • Teaching to a high standard and ensuring all pupils access relevant knowledge.
  • Liaising with other OFG schools to develop curriculum areas.
  • Developing the scheme of learning for curriculum areas and overseeing planning across pathways.
  • Monitoring pupil progress and implementing interventions where necessary.

You will also support the development of learning styles and teaching approaches, behaviour management, classroom strategies, resources, and whole-school policies for pupils across all pathways.
