SEN Teaching and Support Professional

Higford School, part of Options Autism, is a special school set in 28 acres of beautiful Shropshire countryside. We provide a high-quality, holistic education for up to 60 autistic students who also have associated behavioural needs. As an SEN Teacher, you will play a crucial role in supporting these students to make progress academically, socially, and emotionally.
You will be responsible for teaching to a high standard, developing curriculum areas, and monitoring pupil progress. You will also work closely with the therapy team to ensure students receive the support they need to succeed.
The successful candidate will have QTS or equivalent, a strong understanding of autism and associated behavioural needs, and excellent communication skills. They will also be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils, adhering to social media checks and fully enhanced DBS requirements.
We offer a competitive salary of £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with a range of benefits including life assurance, pension scheme, and 'Your Wellbeing Matters' mental health support services.
