Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated SEN teacher to join our team at Higford School in Shropshire.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a range of subjects to deliver the school's curriculum effectively, including English, mathematics, and science.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Teaching to a high standard and ensuring all pupils access relevant knowledge.
  • Liaising with other OFG schools to develop curriculum areas.
  • Developing the scheme of learning for curriculum areas and overseeing planning across pathways.
  • Monitoring pupil progress and implementing interventions where necessary.

A competitive salary package includes an estimated £44,310 per week, Monday to Friday, and a range of benefits such as life assurance and a pension scheme.
