Job Title: Power Solutions Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Power Solutions Technician to join our team at Applied Power Engineering. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing routine and preventative maintenance on diesel generators, conducting load bank testing, and troubleshooting faults on generators and associated control systems.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and develop your skills in generator servicing, engine strip-down and rebuild, and electrical and mechanical principles. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in generator maintenance, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on diesel generators.
  • Conduct load bank testing to ensure generators are operating efficiently.
  • Troubleshoot faults on generators and associated control systems.

Requirements:
  • Strong background in generator maintenance.
  • Experience with engine strip-down and rebuild.
  • In-depth knowledge of diesel generators.
  • Understanding of electrical and mechanical principles.
