Generator Maintenance Technician

We are looking for a highly skilled Generator Service Engineer to join our team at Applied Power Engineering. As a Generator Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the routine servicing of clients' generators and associated equipment, conducting site surveys, and troubleshooting faults on generators and control systems.

RequirementsTo succeed in this role, you should have:
- A strong background in generator servicing, preferably with experience with engine strip-down and rebuild
- In-depth knowledge of diesel generators, including FG Wilson, SDMO, Pramac, Perkins, and MTU models
- Familiarity with PLC-based control systems such as Deep Sea, ComAp, and Dief
- Excellent IT skills for reporting and documenting work
- Knowledge of the 17th/18th Edition Electrical Wiring Regulations
- ECS, CSCS, and IPAF certification
The salary for this position is £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. The successful candidate can also expect:
