Mobile Plant Technician

A skilled and experienced Mobile Plant Technician is required to join our client's team in Rotherham. As a key member of the Mobile Plant Maintenance team, you will be responsible for providing maintenance and repair services for a diverse range of mobile plants and equipment across Rotherham and Sheffield.
This role involves performing MOT preparation, annual servicing, and breakdown repairs on-site vans, as well as maintaining and repairing HGVs, trailers, mobile cranes, forklifts, and specialized heavy industrial vehicles used in the steelmaking industry.
You should have a strong understanding of safe working procedures and use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Excellent fault-finding abilities, strong communication skills, and attention to detail are also essential.
The ideal candidate will have BTEC or NVQ Level 3 qualifications (or equivalent) with at least 2 years of experience in vehicle maintenance. A full, valid UK driving license is also essential.
