Job Title: Training and Safety Expert Role
Company Overview: Liberty Speciality Steels is a renowned manufacturer of high-quality steel products, committed to providing a safe and healthy working environment for its employees.
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Training and Safety Expert to join our team in Rotherham. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing health, safety, and training support across our site.
Main Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver training programs to ensure compliance with HSE legislation and company policies.
- Assist in managing and monitoring the performance of a multiskilled workforce.
- Identify training needs and skills gaps, and source/co-ordinate appropriate internal or external courses.
- Deliver specific hands-on training and meet with managers and employees to evaluate the success and effectiveness of completed training.
- Update individual training records on matrices and INFOR training systems.
- Implement training requirements identified from appraisals and complete weekly/monthly training reports.
- Ensure all mobile plant operators' licenses are kept in date.
Requirements:
- NEBOSH General certificate (or working towards).
- A relevant training qualification, i.e., PTLLS, would be advantageous.
- Experience of delivering training in a classroom environment.
- Ability to communicate at all levels and good presentation skills.
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
