Business Development Partner

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Partner to join our team at Intertek SAI Global Business Assurance division.
This is a hybrid role with a mix of office and remote work, requiring two days a week in our Derby office. As a Business Development Partner, you will be responsible for:
- Nurturing incoming leads to generate interest and appointments for sales colleagues in key target areas
- Working with pre-agreed data to identify new business opportunities
- Directly selling our training portfolio and supporting colleagues with bids and tenders
Key Skills and Experience
- B2B sales experience with a proven track record of hitting targets and KPIs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Self-motivated with a positive 'can-do' attitude
- Good IT skills, including experience with CRM systems
- Full driving license and own car (desirable)
About the Opportunity
As a Business Development Partner, you will be responsible for:
- Outbound calling to potential customers
- Meeting activity key performance indicators around call volume, lead management, opportunity generation, client contact, and pipeline maintenance
- Delivering high levels of customer service and building strong relationships with clients
- Closing deals and achieving sales/appointment targets
- Updating the Customer Relationship Management System
