Strategic Project Director

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Strategic Project Director to oversee the delivery of complex water infrastructure projects. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for managing projects from concept to completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Project Management: Develop and implement project plans, manage budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks to ensure project success.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, external contractors, and customers to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Health and Safety: Prioritize health and safety in all aspects of project delivery, ensuring the wellbeing of all team members, contractors, and customers.
- Qualifications: Engineering, Construction, or Project Management qualification, Chartered or near Chartered with a relevant institution (e.g., ICE, IMechE, IChemE, RICS), APM Project Fundamentals Qualification (PFQ) essential, APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ) desirable.
- Experience: Strong understanding and experience of CDM Regulations, contract and commercial management, particularly with NEC Contracts.
- Skillset: Comprehensive knowledge of project management processes and principles, ability to lead and manage project delivery teams, strong communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
- Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 dependent on experience.
