Job Description

We are partnering with a prominent SEN school catering to students aged 11-19, who present with a diverse range of needs including Autism, Moderate Learning Difficulties and Social, Emotional Mental Health challenges.

The Behavioural Support Specialist will work closely with students exhibiting challenging behaviours stemming from their additional needs.

This ideal candidate would possess:

  • Proven experience in managing complex behaviour
  • Unwavering passion for working with young individuals
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Providing support within the classroom environment
  • Offering emotional guidance
  • Implementing one-to-one interventions

The school is situated in the Wythenshawe area, boasting excellent transport links to Manchester City centre and surrounding areas via buses and trains.

To excel in this position, applicants must provide evidence of relevant skills and experience.

Please note that all candidates will undergo background checks and require a valid DBS certificate (with update service registration).

Teaching Personnel can assist with the application process if necessary.

Working hours typically span Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm, although additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned outside these hours.
