Chef Manager Opportunity in Surrey

We are seeking an experienced Chef Manager to lead our catering operation in Surrey. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the kitchen, including menu planning, staff supervision, and food service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the kitchen team, ensuring high-quality food production and presentation
  • Develop and implement menu plans, taking into account nutritional value, taste, and presentation
  • Supervise catering staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent service delivery
  • Liaise with staff and customers to ensure their needs are met, from sales to delivery
  • Recruit, train, and coach catering staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to excel in their roles
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in managing a large catering operation
  • Strong understanding of produce and ingredients, with knowledge of food production methods
  • Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work unsupervised and consistently deliver quality work
  • Knowledge of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) at all levels
  • Positive and approachable manner, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
