Job Title: Chef De Partie

About the Role:

As a key member of our culinary team, you will assist the Head Chef/Sous Chef in maintaining the highest standards of food quality and presentation. Your responsibilities will include preparing and cooking menu items, contributing to menu development, and supporting the smooth operation of the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and cooking of menu items to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Contribute to the development and planning of menus, including future food trends and innovative service concepts.
  • Support the Head Chef/Sous Chef in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Assist with stock taking and inventory management.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless service delivery.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a passion for food and customer service, as well as excellent communication and teamwork skills. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment and maintain a high level of attention to detail. A minimum of Leaving Cert level education or NVQ qualification as a minimum level 2 is required, along with a successful progressive background in catering.
