We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Technical Manager to join our team at Davies. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in providing professional subsidence and surveying services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- To assess technical and insurance aspects of damaged properties and provide expert advice on repair requirements.
- To investigate and resolve subsidence and general perils insurance claims in a timely and efficient manner.
- To instruct temporary or emergency works to make damaged buildings safe and provide expert guidance on building pathology, including asbestos and damp problems.
- To maintain accurate records on our claims management IT system and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- To work closely with clients, policyholders, local authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and resolution of claims.
- Proven experience in building surveying, civil engineering, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of building construction and foundation systems, local authority planning and building regulations, and administration of building contracts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service and quality.
- Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software applications.
