Assistant Street Works and Permitting Officer

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Street Works and Permitting Team within the Highways department. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient use of the Lincolnshire Highway Network.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing administrative support to Street Works Officers in the team.
- Entering data into our IT systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
- Coordinating and inspecting highway works under the Lincolnshire Permit Scheme.
- Inspecting highway sites to ensure compliance with NRSWA legislation and the Permit Scheme.
- Liaising with internal engineering teams and external utilities to ensure seamless communication.
This is a full-time, entry-level position that offers excellent opportunities for career growth and development. As a member of our team, you will receive comprehensive training to ensure your success in the role.

About YouTo be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
- A BTEC or A levels, or equivalent qualifications.
- A demonstrable level of knowledge and skill suitable for the role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other IT systems.
You will be required to be mobile across the county, so a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential for this role.
