Job Title: Environmental Health Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Environmental Health Officer to join our team at Ad Warrior. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering environmental protection functions, including investigation of statutory nuisance complaints, pollution control, environmental permitting, and contaminated land investigation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Investigate statutory nuisance complaints and take enforcement action as necessary
  • Monitor and control pollution from industrial and commercial sources
  • Issue environmental permits and licenses
  • Conduct contaminated land investigations and provide recommendations for remediation
  • Provide technical and developmental support to environmental protection officers
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years practical experience in environmental health
  • Evidence of training and experience in environmental permitting, local air quality management, acoustics and noise control, and contaminated land
  • Successful completion of the relevant qualification and EHRB registration
  • Hold or be willing to work towards the Diploma in Acoustics and Noise Control Measurement (Institute of Acoustics) and Certification in Integrated Pollution, Prevention and Control (IPPC)
