Pharmacist in Community Medicine

This Clinical Pharmacist position offers an exceptional opportunity to work with a reputable NHS trust, providing vital services to patients across East England. Reporting directly to the Lead Pharmacist iCaSH, you will play a critical role in managing and reviewing the iCaSH Formulary, ensuring it remains up-to-date and cost-effective. Additionally, you will contribute to the development and implementation of speciality-related Patient Group Directions (PGDs) and provide input into relevant policy documents.
The ideal candidate will possess advanced clinical pharmacy knowledge, with experience in the management of patients living with HIV. You will need to demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. In terms of qualifications, a postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Pharmacy Practice or equivalent is required, along with evidence of ongoing professional development. Experience of prescribing, ideally as an independent prescriber, would be advantageous, but not essential. We estimate the salary range for this position to be around £45,000-£75,000 per annum.
