About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Care and Educational Support Worker to join our team at Linn Moor Campus, Peterculter. As a member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the physical, emotional, and educational needs of vulnerable children and young adults with learning disabilities and additional support needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • To participate in ongoing training and professional development, enhancing your skills and knowledge to provide exceptional support.

Requirements

  • A strong commitment to providing high-quality care and education.
  • The ability to build trust and rapport with children and young adults from diverse backgrounds.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues and other stakeholders.
  • An understanding of Scottish educational policies and frameworks, including Curriculum for Excellence and Getting It Right For Every Child (GIRFEC).
  • The willingness to undergo relevant training and qualifications, such as SCQF Level 7 in Social Services and Healthcare or equivalent.
