Therapeutic Practitioner

Barnardo's Scotland is recruiting a Senior Practitioner (Project Worker 3) to be involved in the delivery of our Residential Service, Linksfield. Our mission is to support children and young people using a therapeutic approach in a residential childcare setting.
We are looking for a committed practitioner with experience working with young people and their families. The ideal candidate should be passionate about improving outcomes for young people who are accommodated through a child-centred approach underpinned by Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy principles.
Our team focuses on building stronger family bonds and improving outcomes for children. We believe every child has the right to a fulfilling life and a positive future.
The successful candidate will have strong skills and knowledge in relation to the Person Specification, Job Description, and Additional Information document. A salary of approximately £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on location and experience, is offered for this challenging role.
Key Responsibilities:
- To work with children and young people in a residential childcare setting using a therapeutic approach.
- To build strong relationships with service users, families, and colleagues.
- To contribute to the development of the Residential Service and its policies and procedures.
