Hours: Monday to Thursday - 7.30am - 4.30pm, Friday 7.30am - 4.00pm

Salary: £32,000 basic with an OTE of £38,000

At Lookers PDI Centre, we're seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our dynamic workshop team. As a key member of our service team, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest standards of vehicle maintenance.

As a Vehicle Technician, you'll be responsible for carrying out vehicle health checks using the latest technology, conducting vehicle services in accordance with manufacturer guidelines, and performing any additional repairs once authorized by the customer. You'll also be required to take customers' vehicles out on road tests to ensure all faults are rectified and complete all relevant paperwork to a high standard.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience working within a workshop environment and possess a full UK driving license. Completion of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification is also essential. While previous experience with the brand is advantageous, full brand accreditation training can be provided.

Responsibilities

  • Carrying out vehicle health checks using the latest technology
  • Conducting vehicle services in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and customer requests
  • Performing any additional repairs once authorized by the customer
  • Warranty repairs per the manufacturer's guidelines and relevant write-up is complete
  • Taking customers' vehicles out on road tests to ensure all faults are rectified
  • Completing all relevant paperwork to a high standard

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have prior experience working within a workshop environment and possess a full UK driving license. Completion of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification is also essential.
