About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our team at Lookers PDI Centre in North Shields. As a key member of our Service team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest standards of vehicle maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough vehicle health checks using the latest technology to identify any issues or areas for improvement.
  • Perform vehicle services in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and customer requests, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards.
  • Carry out additional repairs as authorized by the customer, ensuring all work is properly documented and completed to a high standard.
  • Take customer vehicles on road tests to ensure all faults are rectified and the vehicle is safe to drive.
  • Complete all relevant paperwork to a high standard, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have prior experience working within a workshop environment and hold a full UK driving license. Completion of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification is also required. Having previous experience with the brand would be advantageous, but full brand accreditation training can be provided.
